Through Quality Construction |
The framework is made entirely from
mig-welded heavy gauge (3/16" thick wall) steel
tubing. Compare that to the 1/8" thick wall other
manufacturers are calling "heavy duty". By
using extra sturdy steel tubing, we were able to design
our framework with less braces to trip over. The ends of
our frame members are closed with welded-on steel end
caps -not plastic inserts.
Framework
is finished with a durable baked-on polyester powder
coated finish. This is the same finished applied to
washer/dryer appliances. This high-gloss,
scratch-resistant finish is easy to clean and maintains
its new look for years.
Weight
stack plates are machined from unbreakable solid steel -
not cast iron, which can break easily.
Rotating
assemblies such as Cams, R.O.M.s, and pulleys ride on
maintenance-free ball bearings for quiet, friction-free
operation.
The
drive medium for our wrist and cervical units is a a
non-metallic capable of withstanding a 1200 pound test.
Our heavier units employ the use of 3/16" aircraft
quality steel cable capable of withstanding a 4000 pound
test. This is combined with a cam and pulleys which ride
on ball bearings able to take on many times their actual
operating load.
Steel,
stainless steel, Delrin, and nylon components are
machined to close tolerances and held together with with
aircraft quality grade-8 fasteners.
Pads
are upholstered with double-stitched Naugahyde covering
Ensolite PVC foam. Unlike polyurethane foam rubber used
by other manufacturers, Ensolite is impervious to sweat
and won't break down as quickly. Its no wonder Ensolite
is used in commercial airliner cushions.
Our
units were designed and engineered to provide years of
reliable service. Aside from periodic weight stack
guide-rod lubrication, all of our units are virtually
maintenance free.
